Stephanie Flyn (SKF Design)

About her work: Hands-on creativity came natural to Stephanie at a young age. She honed her talents at the Westerhoff School of Music and Art in Metuchen, New Jersey for 13 years, studying a variety of art mediums and learning how to play the classical guitar.

Stephanie continued her artistic pursuits at Drexel University, where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Product Design and Fine Art. In the last decade, she has developed her career as a Creative Lead at a global consulting firm, coined by her colleagues and clients as a branding and visual design expert. During this time, she also launched her independent art and design business.

At Stephanie K Flynn | Art + Design, Stephanie has the delightful task of portraying sentimental places, pets, and more on canvas and paper. From colorful landscapes to enchanting portraits and wedding monograms, her work evokes playful realism and joy. She embraces the custom design process from start to finish — getting to know her clients (and their fur babies!) is just as important as creating timeless pieces.

How we got to know Stephanie: Stephanie lives only a few blocks away from our shop! Her partner, Sean, and their Boston Terrier, Jack, are regulars. When we heard that Stephanie was an artist (on top of her 9-5) but never did a show before, we knew we had to be her first show, as she's so incredibly talented and wanted everyone to see!
