Our Current Artist!

Liz Stachowicz lives 3 blocks from rebel and wolf with her partner and 3 cats. Her favorite coffee order is an iced coffee with almond milk or a dirty chai when she’s feeling fancy. Liz’s art work primarily combines layers of patterned paper and paint to create the  recognizable images of animals, bugs, friends, cats, and beloved movie references.

Passionate about thrifting, she often transforms clothing and objects, customizing or repurposing them with crochet, embroidery, and acrylics. After attending UArts for her BFA in illustration, she left Philly only briefly to pursue a Master's in Art Education, but has returned and remained a Philly creature ever since. Liz deftly crosses back and forth between charming  pastel portraits and darker sci-fi and horror images while retaining her unique voice.
